Bloodroot flowers

Here are some bloodroot photos I took this spring in Rock Creek Park. Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis) is one of my favorite plants, and though I've seen the leaves and seedpods before, I've never found the flowers in the wild, so I was excited to see them and take pictures.
